The Mercury Racing Maximus is an elite five-blade, high-performance stainless steel propeller engineered for high-horsepower big-block sterndrives and large outboards running at high drive heights. It delivers exceptional mid-range bite, low slip, and superior handling on stepped-V hulls, sport V-bottoms, and catamarans.

MAXIMUS ST Designed for sterndrives and big horsepower outboards, the Maximus ST is available in 24" to 34" (even) pitch sizes in both left and right-hand rotation. It features a cut-down diameter (15.6” to 15.3”) and a shortened exhaust tube for enhanced performance. The Maximus ST is rated for up to 600 h.p.

Five-Blade Design: Maximizes blade surface area to drastically reduce vibration and maintain a solid grip in aerated or turbulent water.

High Drive Height Capability: Designed to operate efficiently when drives are raised higher on the transom to minimize gearcase drag.

Long Tube (LT) & Short Tube (ST) Options:

• LT (Long Tube) provides stern lift for hulls that need extra stern support.
• ST (Short Tube) cuts down the exhaust barrel/diffuser ring to settle the stern on light or loose hulls, unlocking extra top-end speed.
• Diverse Sizing & Pitch Range: Available in diameters ranging from 15.0” to 15.625” and pitches from 23” to 35” (including 1-inch and selective half-inch increments)
• Lab Finish Available: Factory-optimized cup and blade geometry by the artisans at Mercury Racing for peak hydrodynamic efficiency and minimum slip. The propellers are Blurprinted by the factory with a 1 year warranty.
• Superior Hole-Shot & Mid-Range Cruising: Aggressive tip-cup configurations hook up hard out of the hole and maintain efficient planing at lower cruising speeds.
• Low slip numbers at wide-open throttle translate to maximized top speeds (ideal for speeds ranging from 60 to 110+ MPH).
• Exceptional grip prevents blowout during aggressive high-speed maneuvers or rough offshore conditions.
• Five blades distribute load evenly, ensuring a significantly smoother ride compared to traditional three- or four-blade configurations.
