Our Prop Nut Kits includes one nylon lock nut, cotter pin, and key.

The Brass propeller replacement kit includes all of the disposable components required when replacing the propeller on your boat.

The components used to secure a propeller to the prop shaft are realistically only designed to be used two times, after which they should be replaced. The max torque when tightening this nut on the shaft should be 35 ft/lbs.

This kit includes everything you'll need when changing the Acme propeller on your boat:

• Nylock Lock Nut (Brass)
• Key (Brass)
• Cotter Pin (Stainless)

Aren't sure what size you need? The shaft size you select for the prop hardware kit needs to be the same as the propeller you have on your boat or are purchasing. If you are unsure about your prop shaft size, use our prop finder tool to look up our suggested props for your year, make, and model boat.

*Those ordering the spline version for 2003 and newer MasterCraft boats will not need to use the key that is included in the prop hardware kit.

Note: This hardware kit will not work with older style shafts that make use of a castle nut and cotter pin arrangement. These are typically found on boats from the late 70's to early 80's.
